There is so much to learn about this wonderful country.  This section will be a great resource for you.

Visiting Belize

RUINS

Belize was the epicenter of the ancient world of the Mayan civilization, which rose to its peak between 600 – 900 AD. The Mayan region was divided into many kingdoms and principalities, and although the people employed a common language and religion these kingdoms had a long history of varying relations among each other over the centuries. Belize has the most Mayan ruins of any Central American Country. They are located all throughout the country.

REEFS

The Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System is the longest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere and the second longest in the world. The reef in Belize is approximately 185 miles long (300 kilometers). The Belize Barrier Reef includes numerous features of coastal geology, such as barrier reefs, fringing reefs, sand cays, mangrove cays, lagoons, and estuaries. The reef is home to three coral atolls , named Lighthouse Reef, Glover's Reef, and the Turneffe Islands. Coral atolls are extremely rare outside of the Pacific Ocean.

RAINFOREST

Much of Belize is still unexploited wilderness. More than half of the country consists of subtropical jungle or rainforest. All this unspoiled wilderness has led to the growth of ecotourism, which is now the nation’s second largest source of revenue. The Belize rainforest is home to an incredible variety of wildlife including wild cats such as the elusive jaguar, tapir, crocodile, howler monkeys, armadillo, the keel-billed toucan, parrots, hummingbirds, heron, macaws, coati, and more.

No language barriers

You won’t need to learn a new language. English is the official language and most of the population speaks it.

Belize has a fascinating history with a diverse culture and
much to offer for residential, year-round, winter or vacation property.
With Mayan ruins and the abundant wildlife to the clear Caribbean waters,

Belize is one of the best places to invest in affordable tropical land.

We would like to offer all of this right here on the

beach front property in Belize at Anderson Point!

"Belize is one of the easiest places to retire. It's English speaking,
has a low cost of living, and no taxes. And it's in the Caribbean. In fact,
it's probably the last place where you can still get affordable Caribbean real estate."
