is a beach front property in Belize at Anderson Point that is 15 acres boasting over 1,000 feet of Caribbean Sea front situated south of Sittee River in the Stann Creek District. Most areas are cleared but natural mangroves protect the coast line along the lagoon. Some filling is taking place along the Caribbean coastline. There is plenty of available sand in the sea to further develop the beach just along the sea along the property. A bight typically is protected from the weather. The property is actually along a sand bar and sand is always available. Beyond some turtle grass in the sea, there is sandy bottom ideal for swimming. A 200 foot pier will be built as the water becomes shallow nearing land...

 

The property has no road access, but has great water on three sides. We are an eco friendly development and presently our main source of power is solar and wind. During the building phase it is expected that one would generate power from generators. There is no source of fresh water so, as is customary in this part of the world; rainwater is collected in water cisterns. We will be installing water purification systems in each home. Also, one can make a well from the fresh water lens, but it might be a bit brackish and must be treated. It would only be used for washing, bathing, etc.

 

This property can easily be accessed by boat in three ways. The starting point for two ways is at the Sittee River Marina. From the marina, it is about a 15 minute boat ride to the property by way of the river to the sea and to the property. The other direction is almost a 12 minute boat ride from the marina by way of a channel into a lagoon and out to the mouth of the channel where the property starts. The third way is to take a boat from the beach in the village of Hopkins.  This entire trip is in the Caribbean Sea.

 

This 15 acre property has frontage on both the sea and on the southern boundary there is a channel that takes you to a lagoon to the back where it connects to the Sittee River. Due to the location of this property, this property has both beach and a secure area in the back channel to secure private boats in our small marina.

 

The property is near Sittee River Village, near islands and approximately 12-15 miles to the Great Barrier Reef.
